CLASH OF THE TITANS III

30.10.04 Supamolly | Berlin

The party took place again in the ex-squat “Supamolly” in Berlin-Friedrichshain where already the first “Clash Of The Titans” Party was. This location has a very cool atmosphere and it´s always a pleasure to play there because of the nice people from this house. Unfortunately PCT and ROKKON had to cancel their shows shortly before the party starts.

Let the show begin.. Massive H-KON and KOI GEORGE Dancefloor

After checking the sound (Bass! Amens! Go!) and playing a little warm up round the place opened it doors at midnight and KOI GEORGE started the evening. He played IDMish breaks and experimental breakcore using also his sampler to put some looped beats on top and to create some cut up madness. Wikkid.

HETZER Oldskool feeling DOC D2N8 says Go-go-go! ...and people do so

After him HETZER started – this time with a set of some classical D-Jungle, Riot Beats and Digital Hardcore stuff. The crowd meanwhile grew bigger and bigger and MC DOC D2N8 grabbed the Mic and animated the people to dance to his Punk-Ragga-toasting style.

H-KON Beard-core! Turntableism Dit jeht jut ab!

At 2 am H-KON took over the decks and kept the party going on with a fresh mix from N20-Ragga Jungle to Deathchant-related Gabber. This set some powerful energy free and pushed the crowd again.

1 hour later POINGI started to play. He made a freaky Gabber-Breakcore-set from Addict records to Shitmat stuff. The  people freaked out totally.

LFO DEMON Dancing crowd DOC D2N8 with LFO DEMON LFO DEMON

At 4 LFO DEMON felt ready and took over and played a rave set beginning with some oldskoolish dutch gabber like Mokum and Ruffneck records mixed with hard Drum´n Bass and Raggacore tunes- ending at some fast Ragga Jungle.

Turntable DOC D2N8 before having beer.. ..and after Girl

At the end of his set after 5 o´clock we decided to start an open round – tabletennis DJ entertainment. That means each of the 5 DJ´s played alternately just one record- and this was described by people of the location as "the battle of the year" (thanx, Alex!). Everybody played his favorite records trying to keep the mood of the records played by the DJs before. So we started at some Gabber went on to some Ragga Breakcore and ended at some classical Breakcore. At 7.30 am there were slowly less and less people and we finally ended up with 5 people still dancing at 8.45 am when Poingi played as the last track one of Emotional Joystick. Wow. Everybody was really tired and burned out but totally happy so we sat together after packing our stuff in the feeling of having had a good time.
